Azeta
Color, located in Muro Leccese, is part of one of the most ancient foundry-extrusion-coating settlements in Italy ,
together with Ruggeri Service, To.Ma and Azeta Metalli. The group produces up to 20,000
tons\year of melting, part of which is directly delivered to Azeta Color’s painting
cycle. By looking at this plant you can guess the future of aluminium profile’s
coating: the
use of type 6000 alloy, in order to avoid forms of filiform corrosion.
The industrial production process is verticalized, because it receives the to be painted profiles from its sister, which extrudes them after being supplied with billets by the foundry.
Under the able guidance of Salvatore Ruggeri and his co-workers, it is easy to foresee new
developmental opportunities of present painting, starting from pre-treatment up to chroming conversion stage’s replacement. Visiting Azeta Color ultimately means knowing its complete process of profiles production. It also represents an opportunity for reflection about optimizing the final production of the powder coating.
