Industrial coating as 4.0 industry operation?

By this time everyone is talking about “4.0 Industry”, in some cases without even knowing exactly what does the sense reported in the Italian Plan 4.0 Industry of September 2016 mean, namely the era of interconnection between men and machines via internet or, in other words, the assumption of interconnection between thought and action, the fact that a man can command to the machine via a structure made of connections between physical and digital systems, complex analysis through Big Data and real-time adjustments to substitute its previous physical activity. We are not just talking about using electronics and IT to automate the production, which is and was a fact in the nineties, with the presence of robots in production.

Anver believes - thinking that the plant engineer agrees - that the coating plant, to be part of 4.0 Industry, should become a machine tool, which is used when required (as it happens in the case of a drilling or a milling machine). A coating plant, in order to be completely 4.0, must also have automated operations of loading and unloading. According to Hubo Automation loading and unloading’s automation can be industrialized, both in coating plants with an own serial production of identical pieces and with different shapes and dimensions.
