During the exhibition of the Specialty Equipment Market
Association, held in Las Vegas, in the United States, Axalta Coating Systems, a
leading global provider of liquid and powder coatings, has celebrated the sale
of its 40millesimo spectrophotometer. On this occasion, Mike Carr, president of
Axalta-North America, and Michael Gogoel, President of BYK-Gardner USA,
presented a commemorative spectrophotometer.
BYK-Gardner, a world leader in color measurement, effects
and test of plastics, paints and cosmetics physical properties, is the maker of
spectrophotometers Axalta. Expert in pairing color technology, Axalta has
pioneered the development of portable colorimeters and spectrophotometers, and
then in 2011 was the first in this area to provide a device capable of
measuring color and effect. In Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA region)
modern spectrophotometers are available from Cromax, Spies Hecker and Standox,
the three global Axalta’s refinish brands. The devices are marketed as
Chromavision and Chromavision Cromax Pro, Color and Color Dialog Dialog
Delta-Scan from Spies Hecker II and Genius and Genius iQ from Standox. These advanced spectrophotometers
are part of the wide range of Axalta color tools, they are available globally
to all coachbuilder clients and are sold in the United States and the Asia-Pacific
region with the names Acquire and Acquire Plus EFX.
