The Italian coating industry was a dynamic industry, in which painters would look for innovative technologies able to provide added value to their work and, at the same time, to meet customer requirements. To date all this, however, has been hampered by the problem of the company’s survival.
Market development analysts predict that only those companies able to stay up to date and to develop innovative applications will be able to prevail in the new global economic scenarios, without succumbing to the current period of crisis. In the January issue of Industrial Coating we briefly illustrate some innovative powder products, some application innovations dedicated to metal substrates and some coating technologies, which are still under development in Italy.
