The
productive and design choices of the compagnie, in the future, will be
increasingly oriented towards “multimaterials” products. The product requie
quality, functionality and, why not, its own artistic and aesthetic value. Especially the market requires a
constant diversification, by reducing serial numbers and increasing the
customization, the “exclusive” piece, the uniqueness. This customisation
research, turned on a increasing interest in color as a determinant element.
This doesn’t mean that in the past the color was unused but, the research was
limited to special cases: for example, in the aluminium profiles, just a few
years ago, the white was dominant and the alternative was the natural aluminium
anode oxidation. Actually, if we consider the last century design and
architecture, the color was usually considered as the shallow feature of the
item, its appearance, used without a global project. Like this, it was not
enhanced the value of the color and its possible autonomy regarding the item. The
use of the color in the landscape, instead, gets rich with the complexity of
the visual perception: in addition to the importance of the color itself, you
have to consider the light, the atmosphere, the distance, factors that change
the vision. We can talk about the use of the nature colors (naturalness) and
artificial ones. In the modern research of using color, the relationship with
the natural elements is one of the most researched point and it seems to
express at best the balance between old and new, between history and modernity.
Another aspect is the relating to the relationship with the light,
environmental factor which contributes to determine the perception of objects
and spaces and evokes its emotional side. So, if the color is used to define the
perspective appearance, the visual one instead, materialize itself to stimulate
the sensitive part.
